K & K Hula Halau
We are going to be starting a new hula classes June of 2012. We are currently taking applications and reservations for class open positions, space will be limited so register early. K & K Hula Halau has been open and running on the island of Maui for the past 15 years. The joint kumu hula are sisters Kimberly & Kathleen Kuloloia who have been dancing for over 40 years. We will be expanding to Las Vegas under the direction of faith Kuloloia Juan the daughter and niece of the Maui kumu hula along with frequent visits from kumu hula Kim & Kathy of Maui to support our newest kumu.
The classes we will be teaching are: Kahiko (ancient hula) 1hr Auana (modern hula) 1hr Tahitian 1 hr
The following are a list of classes we will be offering: Beginner keiki (children) wahine and kane 5yrs-10yrs old Beginner adult wahine (women) 11yrs-49 yrs old Beginner adult kane (men) 11yrs-49 yrs old Beginner adult gracious men and women 50 and up Advanced keiki (children) wahine and kane 5yrs-10yrs old Advanced adult wahine (women) 11yrs-49 yrs old Advanced adult kane (men) 11yrs-49 yrs old Advanced adult gracious men and women 50 and up
Beginner Tahitian all ages men & women
Advanced Tahitian all ages men & women Class schedules will be based on enrollment these classes will be year round with scheduled future performances and competitions both in the mainland and in Hawaii all classes will be an 1 hr each class with 1, 2 or 3 classes available each week.
If you take one class a week fees are $35.00 a month. If you take two classes a week fees are $55.00 a month. If you take three classes a week fees are $75.00 a month. All fees for classes are due the 1st of each month. All classes will be held in the northwest area of Las Vegas (in the Aliante subdivision).
