Halau Hula o Na Mauna Komohana

Halau Hula O Na Mauna Komohana is the oldest halau (or hula school) in Boulder. We are a diverse student and performing group, learning authentic kahiko (ancient) and beautiful ‘auana (modern) hula, while also studying other aspects of Hawaiian culture and tradition. Our hula classes include education in Hawaiian language and chanting as well as Hawaiian history and politics, past and present. We are dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of the Hawaiian culture and we enjoy working together to spread the purity of the aloha spirit, both within the halau and in the community.
