1 1/2 cup Bisquick 1 tsp Baking powder 1 Tbsp granulated Sugar 1 Egg 3/4 C Milk 5 slices of crustless bread
1 brown paper bag 1 C granulated Sugar 2 Tbsp Cinnamon (optional)
Blend Bisquik, baking powder, sugar, egg and milk until lump free, about the same as pancake batter, but a bit more thick. Take the bread slices into 4 squares. Dip bread in batter and drop in 350 degree oil. Fry until golden brown. Put each malasada into brown paper bag with 1 cup granulated sugar and cinnamon. Shake well.
