2-3 Chicken breasts, skinned, boned, sliced
Olive oil
Italian seasonings
"choke" chopped Garlic (da mo' da betta)
2 tbsp finely chopped Onion (gotta be red onion or Maui kine)
1 big kine can Cream of mushroom soup
1 box sliced Button mushrooms
1 sliced Bell pepper (any kine, but red is best)
Whole milk (no 2%!!!)
Cooking Instructions
Marinate chicken in 2 Tbsp olive oil, Italian seasonings, an' as much garlic as you like (fo me I gotta load it on!). Season with salt and pepper if necessary. Let sit ovah night or fo at least one hour. Heat saucepan with olive oil. Sautee chicken with extra garlic (yea you read right)and sliced mushrooms until no mo' pink color in chicken left. Add cream of mushroom and milk until you have da consistency you like (gravy kine best) Let simmer. Right befo' you turn off stove, throw in bell peppers and stir real quick, just a few seconds, then turn off fire. Dis way da bell peppers dun get mushy and overcooked.
Additional Comments
Brok da mout' wen serve ovah rice. Make sure rice is fluffy, chewy, slightly sticky (you kno da kine), or not going to taste da same.
