Mrs. Hoke's Butter Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients

4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 pound butter

Cooking Instructions

Mix all ingredients well. Spread on shallow pan about 1/2 inch thick. Bake for 2 � hours at 250 degrees or until brown. Cut in squares and cool.

Additional Comments

For those who remember Mrs. Abby Hoke back at St. Patrick School in the 50's selling these cookies for five cents a square after school.
