4 C Flour 2 tsp Baking soda 2 C Crushed cornflakes
Cream butter, margarine and sugar well. Add vanilla. Stir in flour and baking soda. Fold in crushed cornflakes. Roll into balls, place on cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of glass or palm of your hand. Bake 12 - 15 minutes a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake until light brown. DO NOT OVERBAKE!
** If you use a dark cookie sheet or baking stone, bake 10-12 minutes, checking at 10 minutes for doneness.
You can also roll the dough into logs, wrap in wax paper then foil and freeze. Cut off chunks and bake, no need to thaw. Great to do with chocolate chip cookie dough, too.
