Steamed Black Bean Spareribs

11 lbs chopped Pork spareribs
1 Tbsp Black beans, mashed
46 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Sugar
1 pinch White pepper
tsp MSG (Optional)
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
12 tsp Salt (to taste)
1 shot Whiskey or sherry
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 tsp fresh Ginger, Grated
2 stalks Green onions, Chopped
Cooking Instructions
Rinse dried black beans and mash along with garlic and a little oil in a small dish. In a large glass or ceramic bowl, marinate spareribs with the black beans and other ingredients. Spread the contents evenly around inside the bowl and allow to cook in a steamer or a large pot (with about inch of water) for approximately 1 hours or until tender.
Additional Comments
Recipe calls for one shot whiskey. Mine calls for two. One fo'insai da dish and one fo' insai me...Okole maluna and bon appetite!
