Shrimp Curry

1 Onion, diced/chopped
1/4 C dried Shrimps
1 lb fresh Shrimps
2 med Carrots, cubed/diced
2 med Potatoes, cubed/diced
3 C Water
2 C frozen Peas
2 Tbsp Curry powder (more or less to taste)
1/2 C Evaporated milk
Dash Tumeric
Cooking Instructions
Fry dry shrimps in a little oil until brown. Then add fresh shrimps and onion until nicely browned. Add the 3 cups of water, then the potatoes and carrots and cook slowly/simmer until done. Add curry powder, peas, milk and tumeric. After 3-4 minutes thicken with cornstarch (mixed in cup with water first, of course).
