Ingredients
6 Chicken thighs, with skin left on
1/2 C + 2 Tbsp Kikkoman Soy Sauce or more to taste
3 Green Onions, cut into 2 inch pcs
4 Tbsp Brown sugar
1 C Water
3 cloves Garlic, peeled and crushed
2 Ginger slices, crushed slightly
1/4 C White Zinfandel
Cooking Instructions
Place all of the above ingredients in a large pot and bring to a rapid boil. Lower heat to medium low and cover with lid. After half an hour turn chicken over and cook on other side. After one hour of cooking taste the sauce and adjust to your liking. If sauce is too salty, add more sugar. If it is too sweet, add a bit of soy sauce. You know the chicken is done when it's just about falling off the bone. So good with lots of steamed rice! Even better the next day!
