Ingredients
3 lb. fryer
Garnish:
Chinese parsley
Green onions
Sauce:
1 C Shoyu
1/2 C Sugar
2 Tbsp Honey
1/2 C Chicken broth
1 tsp Hoisin sauce
1 whole Star anise (mashed)
Cooking Instructions
Steam chicken for 30 minutes. Combine sauce and let simmer for 15 minutes. Place chicken in sauce. Simmer chicken for 5 minutes on each side till chicken is well coated with sauce. Chop chicken and arrange on platter. Garnish.
