1 lb Pork
1 Tbsp Oil
1/2 C Shoyu
1/4 C Water
1/3 C Sugar
1 large Onion, sliced
1 inch piece Ginger, crushed
1 block Tofu, cubed
MSG (optional)
1 bunch Green onions, cut into 2-inch lengths
Cooking Instructions
Slice pork thin into 1 inch lengths; brown in hot oil. Stir in shoyu, water, sugar, onion and ginger. Bring to a boil and simmer gently a few minutes. Gently fold in tofu and m.s.g. and simmer a few minutes more. Stir in green onions and serve.
