Onolicious Ginger Chicken

3-5 lbs Chicken fryer
1 C light Olive oil
3/4 C Aloha Shoyu
2 inch Ginger, grated
3-4 stalks Green onion, chopped (even the white part! no waste!)
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Clean chicken with salt and water. Pat dry. Place chicken in baking pan. Mix olive oil, shoyu, grated ginger, and chopped green onion until shoyu and oil is well blended. Immediately pour over chicken. Don't forget the inside of the chicken! Cover the chicken with foil and seal the edges. This will allow for steam and will make the chicken melt in your mouth! Bake first for 45 minutes then take off foil, baste every 15 minutes for another 30 minutes- more if your chicken is really big. When we eat this, we add some Aloha shoyu to some of the drippings as a sauce over our rice!
