2 lbs Pork tenderloin
Salt & Sugar
1/2 C Catsup
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame oil
1 Tbsp Sherry
1 tsp 5-Spice powder
1 clove Garlic, minced
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Salt
Red food color
Cooking Instructions
If meat is large, cut into strips approx. 1-1/2 in. in diameter. Sprinkle with salt & sugar & let set several hours; drain. Combine remaining ingredients, pour over meat & marinate 24 hours, turning several times to coat all sides. Place on rack in a shallow roasting pan; bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins.; turn meat, baste with marinade & bake another 20 mins. Cool. Slice to serve.
