Aunty Julie's Salisbury Steak w/Mushroom Gravy

1 lb Ground beef
1 C Crackers (crushed)
1 C Bread crumbs (soaked)
2 Eggs
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1/4 C Onions (diced)
1/4 C Green peppers (diced)
1/4 C Celery (diced)
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 Tbsp Paprika
2 Tbsp Dillweed
1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Dash Oregano, Basil, Thyme, Parsley, Cumin, Sage
2 Tbsp Vegetable oil
Pam cooking spray
1 lg can Cream of mushroom soup (Campbell's is best)
1 can Water
1/2 med Onion (sliced)
Cooking Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except can mushroom soup and sliced onions. Form into thick patties. Coat bottom of large skillet with Pam cooking spray. When hot add vegetable oil and heat. On high heat, fry patties each side till golden brown. Place in 13"X 9" pan. Mix in another bowl, Cream of Mushroom soup and water. Pour over Patties. Sprinkle Onion slices over top and cover with tin-foil. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Let cool before serving. Taste like you eating one supa dupa juicy, cheese burga without da bun. Try it on hot, steamed rice.
Additional Comments
The kid's and I were feeling blue 'cause Daddy's job took him out of town for da week. We wanted to eat something that would make us feel better about it so, we tossed this and that together and called it "Daddy go away" Burgers. It made us feel better about him leaving us.
