Ingredients
For the Crust:

3 C All purpose self rising flour
2 Tbsp Baking powder
1 tsp Salt
1/2 C Crisco
1 C Milk
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup water

For the filling:

2 1/2 Tbsp butter
1 C Sugar
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. First sift all of the dry ingredients together. Now, mix in the shortening (Crisco)to make a coarse mixture. Next, gradually add the milk until a soft dough is formed. Now, roll the dough until it is sorta thin but not as thin as you would for pie crust. Try to make it a little thicker (approx. 3/16in). After you complete the rolling butter the dough with soft butter (not melted), cover with 1/4 inch brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon (this can be based on how much cinnamon you like). Now, Roll the dough up like you would a jelly roll and slice into circles approximately 1/2 inch thick. Next pour your water into a casserole dish and place the sliced dough into the casserole and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
