Tahiti Fete of San Jose

Tahiti Fete of San Jose celebrates its 25th Anniversary! Considered the largest Tahitian dance competition in the United States, Tahiti Fête of San Jose, spotlights the tradition of Tahitian dance. This 3-day event brings dancers come from all over the world to compete with exquisite costumes, demonstrating traditional and contemporary choreography while showcasing the rich history and tales of the Polynesian people. Traditionally held at the esteemed San Jose State Event Center, groups utilize the large dance floor and creative light capabilities to showcase the heavily crafted dance choreography to give the best performance of the year.

Alongside the stage, food vendors sell traditional Polynesian foods, over 50 artisans offer exquisite Polynesian crafts and guests can participate in cultural dancing workshops conducted by the esteemed judges from the competition.
