Guided by strong musical roots, Kale Hannahs, David Kamakahi and Matt Sproat, have combined their eclectic musical experiences of the past 20 years to form the neo-traditional Hawaiian music group, Waipuna. Kale, David and Matt represent the next generation of Hawaiian musical legends, priding themselves in respectfully pushing the limits of traditional Hawaiian music while perpetuating the music of their predecessors.

The combination of instrumental prowess, strong harmonies and a passion for music, has garnered Waipuna with five Na Hoku Hanohano awards.
