What is Taste of Tahiti and Taste of Hawaii?

It is a project hosted by O Huahine Te Ti'araa, aka; OHTT, from Huahine, French Polynesia and Temecula, California along with their sister dance group, Puahi's Polynesian Dance Company. Our future objective, in year 2017, is to reconnect the triangle of the Pacific which is Tahiti, Hawaii and New Zealand which will ultimately be renamed the Taste of Pacific .

In 2014, we introduced the Taste of Tahiti and brought over to the City of Temecula over 70 people of OHTT from the island of Huahine, Raiatea and Bora Bora to connect with the City along with our newest sister family, Puahi's Polynesian Dance Company. In 2015, we will be introducing the Taste of Hawaii attaching and continuing with the Taste of Tahiti while in year 2016, the Taste of New Zealand will be added. The Taste of Tahiti and Hawaii will have its own cultural identity but yet will feature the same activities such as food, dance, music, arts, crafts, games, giveaway prizes and this year will combine all with a food and wine festival concept which will end with a concert by a surprise entertainer(s).

This event will not be possible with some key sponsors support such as the Tourism Bureau, Airlines, Hotels & Resorts, Restaurants and other related businesses where they are playing a big part of developing the Taste of Tahiti, Hawaii and New Zealand into a mecca destination promotion throughout our journey of spreading the Taste of Pacific.

All funds raised will be attributed to the non-profit organization of OHTT(www.ohtt.org) and partial proceed and percentage will be donated to a designated local non-profit in the City of Temecula that we will announce in due time.
