Santa Barbara, Calif. — the Aloha Spirit Bash returns to Santa Barbara for a third year, 12pm-7pm on Saturday July 28th at Elings Park soccer field. The Aloha Spirit Bash brings together the best in Hawaiian dance groups, Hawaiian music, food and beverages to benefit the local nonprofits, Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, the Challenger’s Little League and Central Coast Type One. The first two Aloha Spirit Bash festivals raised $45, 000 that was donated to diabetes research.

Admission is only $25 per person and includes entrance to the event, as well as food and beverage. Children under the age of 10 are free.

Dance groups scheduled to perform include Tina’s Ports of Paradise, Hoapili Pomaika’i Aloha, and Iaorana Te Otea. Music groups scheduled to perform include Kona’s up and coming Kimie, Rocky Logue & the Tent Party, Lilikoi Jam featuring Joanie Collins & Evan Tom, Island Connection, and Rian Basilo & the Roosters.

There will also be a raffle & several silent auction items including a Hoe Nalu stand-up paddle board. This family-friendly event encourages festival goers to bring their blankets, beach chairs, and umbrellas for picnic-style seating.
