Noelani's Halau presents the first of our Workshop Series 2010 with Guest instructor Norine Brennan Peterson.
Emphasis will be on traditional technique and stregnthening of basic Tahitian movements. Proper vocabulary for dance and drum patterns. Creating a strong performance style, costuming and preparing for a Tahitian solo for performance and or competition. After lunch an Aparima will be taught that will include a translation of lyrics and a cd of music.
