Hawaiian comic Kamaka Brown opens for Rocky LaPorte and Howie Nave at Chinook Winds Casino and Resort.

An evening of great stand up comedy with Kamaka at the helm as opening act and host.

Kamaka Brown was born and raised in Hawaii and bridges his humor across cultural boundaries. He is a multi-talented writer, motivational speaker, comic, producer, writer, actor and master of ceremonies. He is serious about the business of being funny. He knows comedy and just what it is that makes people laugh. Kamaka opened for legendary bluesman B.B King, rock and roll icon Chuck Berry. He is a frequent performer at comedy clubs in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest.


Rocky LaPorte’s clean observations and take on life have made him a favorite in all the top comedy clubs. His likeability and every-man style gives him an unparalleled universal appeal that any audience can enjoy and relate to. Rocky's opened for the likes of, Louie Anderson, Garry Shandling, Drew Carey, Tim Allen, Hootie and the Blowfish and the Righteous Brothers just to name a few. He has done an enormous amount of charity work also. For St Jude's for Children, N.F.L. Charities, Homeless shelters, cancer research and Police and Fire Dept fundraisers.

Howie Nave has appeared on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Comedy Central in addition to appearing at numerous comedy festivals both in the United States and abroad. Over the years working the road Howie has opened for a wide variety of artists ranging from Neil Young, Trisha Yearwood, Johnny Cash, Asleep At The Wheel and Kathy Mattea to Howie Mandell, Louie Anderson, Soupy Sales and “Weird Al" Yankovic to name a few.

Show time 8 p.m. For this 21 and over event, doors will open at 7:30pm with a no-host bar.
