Please join us at our annual scholarhsip lu`au on October 17, 2009 from 2pm to 8pm at the Ken Nakaoka Center, 1670 W 162nd St in Gardena, CA. To date we have awarded over $175,000 towards scholarship to polynesian/pacific island women from California.

Donation: $25 per person (all proceeds support the scholarship fund)

Please join us for an evening with `ohana and friends. `Ono kaukau: kalua pua`a, rice, poi, lomi salmon, chicken long rice, poke, sweet potato, haupia. Pupu: boiled peanuts, fried fish, poi, kulolo, kim chee cucumbers, pickled onions, to name a few. Beverages. Raffle prizes; 50/50. Entertainment by the Daughters with New Zealand portion under the direction of Aunty Linda Wishart. Needless to say, we'll have good fun.
