Polynesian Paradise Dancers 17th Annual Ho'ike Dance Concert

The International touring company the Polynesian Paradise Dancers present its 17th annual Hoike Concert dance concert. The dance concert will include performances by its students and professional company. This traditional Polynesian dance show includes dances from Hawaii, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tahitian drumming. This production is a tribute to the Polynesian influences in our American culture. The show will include traditional Hawaiian songs and also songs from the movie Moana and also Lilo and Stitch. The company director Akemi Welsh was hired as a consultant by Buena Vista pictures for the lilo and stitch world premiere in Hollywood, VA, Memphis, TN and the ABC television special. The company had the opportunity to perform a 2 month run at the El Capitan Theatre, Hollywood as party of the lilo and stitch beach party. This years production is also the first time our new artistic director Dulce Gutierrez will direct the show.
