I hope everyone is having a great 2010.  Weather forecasters are predicting an extremely cold and snowy winter for the MidWest.  But that's OK because we have the aloha spirit and many happy memories of our Hawaii to keep us warm and toasty.  Some of us were even lucky to receive goody boxes from home filled with chocolate covered macadamia nuts, mochi, manapua and pineapple candies. 

Board members of The Hula Association of the Midwest have been busy planning new events for 2010.  Look for future announcements!! 

In the meantime, enjoy each other in the hula halaus and remember that whether you are Hawaiian or Hawaiian at heart, you carry the warmth of aloha where ever you are no matter what the weather is like outside.  Aloha Pumehana!!!
