I used 1/4t. salt and turned out fine but I think it's too much rice crispies so I did it again with only 1 cup rice crispies and turned out better.
Sorry, my mom cooks without recipes, so this was a guesstimate from my dad...about 1/2 cup water, mostly for moisture, but it will cook down, so less is okay if you like stronger flavor.
