“Samurai” evokes many romantic notions and takes one back to the critical turning point in Japan's history. The Shinsengumi were a group of warriors from various social backgrounds who were at the center of political firestorm during the mid-nineteenth century, Bakumatsu Era.
While the Shinsengumi are evaluated to be tragic heroes or villains what is certain is that they are controversial and deserve our continued study and appreciation for their place in history. ShinsengumiHQ.com (SHQ) seeks to preserve the history and fictional incarnations of these men and their sense of makoto, sincerity, at the end of an era.
SHQ welcomes contributions to the website in any form whether it be art, research, multi-media and discussion. The biggest project undertaken by volunteer researchers and writers is to publish an e-book and share the world in which the Shinsengumi lived to the general public. The text will also present, in English, the biographies of Shinsengumi who continued to live well into the modern era. Join us.

This was a very good recipe. This is what I was looking for. I gave some to my Filipino buddies at work and they said it was a winner. I kinda,
eliminated the evaporated milk, and put coconut milk instead, and left out the sour cream.
