Exploring the "New", Redesigned AlohaWorld.com
There are a number of new features of the new AlohaWorld.com website which we review in the next few enewsletters.
Claim Yourself
Hundreds of entries from the old site were transferred to the new site and if you were the original submitter you can now CLAIM that listing. Once you claim your listing you will be able to edit or delete it. Of course you will also be able to add new ones. For each section, you will find an FAQ detailing how the new system works and how to claim your listing.
Leave a Comment
For several sections, you are now able to leave comments for specific listings/entries. Leaving comments is available for the Lost Ohana, the Mainland Hawaiian Directory, and the Hanabuddah Stories. Please note that if you need to contact the submitter of the entry with a specific question, it would be best to contact them directly through the link in the entry. You don't need to register for an account in order to leave comments.

NPIEN annually recognizes students, educators, and community members for their academic achievements and service to the Pacific Islander community. Each honoree receives a medallion, plaque, and proclamations from their respective legislators. Four students receive scholarships. Visit our website for awards applications.
