Our hula sister, ‘ōlapa dancer Desi Cortez, is in need of pule (prayers) and kōkua (help) from our community.

While visiting her mom in Las Vegas, Desi fell ill and discovered that she had a serious brain aneurysm, which required emergency transportation to Arizona for a life-saving operation. Her medical bills and long recovery will be expensive, so we are looking for any and all help that our community can offer. Her ʻohana started a GoFundMe to raise money, mahalo for any amount you can give. https://gofund.me/ca8a98f0

kākoʻo (support) Maui by donating to the Maui Strong Fund at the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation or by donating directly to families.
